y Village Intro: Everybody live in a community. Community make by more than 2 houses, where is more two houses there is called village, and everybody belong to a village and that village has one specific name, like that my village Name is Khanche and community of Tamang people. Now I am going to describe My Village. My Village is V.D.C. Khanche Banjhakhet ward no. 5 lamjung Nepal. It is lies north east of Besishahar central of lamjung. From Besishahar Hostipal site road is lead to join bridge of marsyangdi river. Crossing the bridge we have to go west site leading one narrow road. the join to bhote faat. Nowadays under marsyangdi college site there is a tween (rope way) to reach bhote faat. then crossing vhote faat we reach rato mato. after 10 min you will see bhachok khola's small bridge there will be a residence place called khasur faat some shops. we have to take some snaks and tea because way is not street it will be cliff way so we have to fulfill our stomach. we move from khasur faat next village will be deujanthok village and which is VDC 2 and two or three times crossing bhachok khola (stream) we will be jungle way and our besi (bottom of hill) then we will be our farms way and totally greenery scene and we can see our village called khanche. when ever it will not reach there is no street way only zig zag way.
The way of 1 hour we be khanche village where only tamang community. There is 45 of tamang’s houses. Most of young boy try to join British army, Indian army and other gulf country visiting is it’s income. There is different concepts people are living. They believe themselves, farmer also need to change different way to get more income so nowadays plan alaichi (cardamom) and getting every year RS 20,000 to RS 1,00,000 from one house. Different house used farms are planting such maize, potato, rice, soybean and other income will be jungle herbals. Most of strong boy can earn Rs 5000 to RS 20,000 with in 3 months season time of pipla and other harbals. There is no proper road so they have to come besishahar to sell there product or daily uses mater purchasing. Every morning from khanche we can view of machapuchhre Himal and beautiful villages like Sandhu, pangrequ, Bhachok, ghanpokhar, Khasur, Deujanthok or many more villages. Khanche is one of rich village comparing to other villages because of it is pick of hill. There is a rice meal established aama samuha (mothers group). And 95 % house is made of tin then 20% of houses have solor power light. Every house has one person is in foreign country gulf, India and other countries. There is a school Shree Ganesh Primary School where I got Primary education. In this village there is a Buddha Shakti Youth Club and the members are active anytime to do any of difficulties. There is rule to apply all members. So they are always be in discipline for helping or any social work. If you will go there evening time after dinner aama samuha(mothers group) they will come to you to do welcome and dance after all you have to give some money that will use any social work same doing they established a rice meal.
Khanche is main way for bara pokhari. Every year people will go to bara pokhari in janai purnima but using different way so if they could make good road for vision of that place it will be nice to them or us. So I love my village khanche. I almost finished my half of teenage so I never forget my village because my childhood was past in khanche, Today I am wrote these words as I could but is not enough. Any of festival we celebrate very nicely so evey festival time everybody will be gettogether when every I can't go I alwayas miss my village I love it and in my live time it will be my proud and dignity. Whend every I remember my village that time it will tear myself as happyness tears. And at last I say Khanche is great and I am proud of my village where I born. That’s all.
